About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitizing Africa's real economy by building a comprehensive financial ecosystem for businesses. We provide payment, banking, credit, and business management tools to help enterprises succeed. We are currently looking for a talented Illustrator to join our dynamic User Experience, digital, and creative team. In this role, you will interpret complex product briefs and develop inspiring artwork that attracts and engages our target audience, turning abstract concepts into marketable visual assets.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare rough draft illustrations according to project requirements and company specifications.
- Create complete illustrations and refine design concepts using diverse colors, graphics, effects, and industry-standard software.
- Apply isometric techniques to add perspective and dimension to complex visual shapes.
- Ensure all digital illustrations meet high quality, brand aesthetic, and color standards.
- Brainstorm with the cross-functional design team to formulate new creative ideas, patterns, and visual styles.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging design techniques, industry trends, and graphics software.
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- At least 4 to 5 years of proven professional experience as an Illustrator, Graphic Designer, or in a similar visual design role.
- A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing a wide range of completed digital illustrations and conceptual thinking.
- Advanced drawing, painting, and digital artwork rendering skills with deep expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design tools.
- Ability to manage time effectively, work under pressure, and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced fintech environment.
