We are currently seeking a passionate, dedicated, and highly qualified IGCSE Teacher - Biology to join our exceptional academic faculty. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping students' scientific minds, fostering a love for biology, and preparing them for academic excellence under the Cambridge curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive IGCSE Biology lessons aligned with the British curriculum standards.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to ensure academic success.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Prepare students thoroughly for external examinations through effective revision strategies and practice tests.
- Participate collaboratively in departmental meetings, school events, professional development, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), B.Sc, or a related degree in Biology or Life Sciences. A relevant post-graduate teaching qualification is an added advantage.
- Proven teaching experience delivering the IGCSE Biology curriculum within a reputable secondary school.
- In-depth knowledge of Cambridge assessment standards and modern pedagogical approaches.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to integrate digital tools into everyday classroom teaching.
- Must be resident in Lagos or willing to relocate to the Apapa axis.
