Key Responsibilities- Create and sustain a caring, pleasant, and stimulating learning environment that inspires academic excellence and personal growth among primary pupils.
- Deliver engaging, exciting, and diverse lessons teaching the fundamentals of reading, writing, and speaking in the English language.
- Monitor and track student progress by evaluating classroom behavior, exercise participation, homework assignments, and examination grades.
- Provide constructive feedback to pupils and parents while identifying children who need extra support through personalized improvement plans.
- Research contemporary English language teaching methodologies and collaborate with academic and administrative colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), or a BSc, BA, or HND in English Language or Literature accompanied by a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
- Mandatory Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience as an English teacher within a structured primary school setting.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, paired with dynamic presentation abilities.
- Strong digital literacy and familiarity with contemporary ICT tools for modern classroom learning.
- Residents living in and around Ogudu, Ojota, Alapere, Ketu, Ikosi, and Oworonshoki will have a distinct advantage.
