We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and qualified IGCSE English and Literature Teacher to deliver exceptional lessons, foster a love for literature, and empower young women to become confident, critical thinkers and future leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE English Language and Literature curriculum.
  • Prepare students thoroughly for IGCSE examinations to ensure outstanding academic outcomes.
  • Assess, monitor, and comprehensively report on student progress in accordance with school and international standards.
  • Differentiate instruction to effectively support the diverse learning needs of academically gifted students.
  • Contribute actively to curriculum development and co-curricular enrichment activities such as debate and writing clubs.
  • Maintain exemplary standards of classroom management, discipline, and positive reinforcement.
  • Participate in school events, pastoral care responsibilities, and boarding life integration as required.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field; a Master's degree is a distinct advantage.
  • A recognized professional teaching qualification such as a PGCE, QTS, or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience teaching IGCSE English within a reputable British or international school environment.
  • Deep working knowledge of Cambridge curriculum requirements and modern assessment standards.
  • Demonstrated passion for mentoring young girls and shaping a positive female leadership culture.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
