About the Role
St. Cyprian Modern Schools is a leading multi-level private educational institution located in Court Area Agubia, Ikwo Local Government Area, Ebonyi State, Nigeria. We are recruiting a dedicated and experienced Igbo Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team and deliver exceptional language education across our Nursery, Primary, and Secondary programmes.
As an Igbo Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in preserving and promoting our cultural heritage while fostering linguistic excellence and critical thinking skills among our students. Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging Igbo language lessons aligned with national curriculum standards
- Create inclusive learning environments that accommodate diverse learning styles
- Design and implement assessment strategies to monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate academic records and communicate student performance to parents
- Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development programmes
- Contribute to the development of the school's academic vision and initiatives
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.ED or B.S.ED) or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of proven teaching experience in school management or classroom instruction
- Strong fluency in Igbo language with excellent teaching methodology
