Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging Igbo language lessons using modern teaching methodologies
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes cultural appreciation and linguistic proficiency
- Assess student progress through continuous evaluation and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate the dual learning system across the curriculum
- Utilize modern educational facilities and technology to enhance learning outcomes
- Maintain detailed records of student performance and attendance
- Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Igbo Language, or related field
- Valid teaching certification or credential
- Proven experience teaching Igbo language at secondary level
- Strong command of written and spoken Igbo
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
