Key Responsibilities- Collect, properly label, and process patient specimens including blood and urine according to clinical standards.
- Perform routine laboratory investigations in hematology, microbiology, and clinical biochemistry.
- Prepare necessary reagents, manage laboratory supplies, and operate testing equipment efficiently.
- Ensure strict compliance with biosafety measures and infection prevention protocols at all times.
- Record, document, and report test results accurately to support clinicians in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Assist in the proper storage and safe disposal of biological samples and laboratory waste.
- Possession of a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated practical skills in sample handling, basic laboratory testing, and equipment operation.
- Thorough understanding of medical biosafety, quality control, and infection control standards.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate records.
