About the Role
Elevation Professionals, a leading management consultancy and publishing firm, is recruiting a qualified and passionate ICT Teacher on behalf of a client school located in Ipaja, Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Information and Communication Technology concepts, fostering digital literacy, and preparing students for a technology-driven world through engaging, well-structured lessons.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver ICT lessons in line with the approved curriculum
- Teach students computer fundamentals, coding, software applications, and digital literacy skills
- Develop lesson plans, assignments, and assessments to evaluate student progress
- Maintain and manage computer laboratory equipment and resources
- Guide students on the safe and responsible use of technology and the internet
- Monitor student performance and provide timely feedback to students and parents
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and incorporate relevant tools into teaching
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support overall academic goals
- Prepare students for ICT-related examinations and competitions
- Enforce classroom discipline and maintain a conducive learning environment
- Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field
- Proven teaching experience in ICT or Computer Studies, preferably within a school setting
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and basic programming concepts
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to simplify technical concepts for students of varying learning levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common educational software
- Candidates residing within Ipaja or its environs in Lagos are strongly encouraged to apply
- Relevant teaching certification (TRCN) will be an added advantage
