About the Role
Prime Montessori Nursery and Primary School (PMS) is dedicated to arresting the falling standard in the educational sector by providing qualitative and balanced education. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic ICT Teacher to join our esteemed academic team in Satellite Town, Lagos. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the technological literacy of young learners, ensuring they are well-equipped with practical digital skills for the modern world in a supportive and resource-rich environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, interactive, and comprehensive ICT lessons to nursery and primary students following the approved curriculum.
- Introduce students to foundational computer science concepts, including basic coding software, internet safety, and typing skills.
- Utilize digital learning tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Google Classroom to enhance classroom instruction.
- Maintain effective classroom management to foster a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment for all pupils.
- Assess and track student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to students and progress reports to parents.
- Manage and maintain school computer laboratory hardware and software resources in collaboration with the administration.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Science (BSc), Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; NCE in Computer Studies is also acceptable.
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable teaching experience in a recognized educational institution.
- Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, internet tools, and basic coding software.
- Strong classroom management, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must reside in or be able to conveniently commute to Satellite Town, Lagos.
- Must be available to resume duties immediately.
