About the Role
Action Against Hunger | ACF Nigeria LTD/GTE, a global humanitarian organization committed to ending world hunger, works to save the lives of malnourished children while providing communities with access to safe water and sustainable solutions. We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced ICT Officer to join our dynamic team and provide robust technological support across our main office and sub-bases.
Key Responsibilities- Install and configure network resources, manage user backups, and support the Mission ICT Specialist in Local Area Network design and administration.
- Collaborate with HR for user onboarding and offboarding, guide staff on the GLPI ticketing system, and oversee the end-to-end management of ICT assets, equipment, and consumables.
- Ensure data security by implementing anti-virus protection, managing OneDrive and NAS backups, and overseeing CCTV system functionality.
- Partner with the procurement team for accurate equipment specifications, asset labeling, inventory tracking, and maintenance across all operational locations.
- Monitor communication services, allocate and manage GSM lines, and ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for internet and telephony.
- Conduct ICT inductions and periodic staff training, manage user account creation, and deliver prompt, effective day-to-day technical support.
- Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Relevant professional certifications and/or specialized training in ICT fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience in similar ICT support and network administration roles.
- Previous experience working with international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical, reporting, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, diplomatic, and interpersonal skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
