About the Role
Avonix Place is a premier restaurant and luxury lounge located in the upscale Victoria Garden City (VGC) and Ajah area of Lekki, Lagos. We are renowned as a fine and casual dining destination, featuring a diverse menu of intercontinental and African cuisines. We are currently looking for a creative, energetic, and detail-oriented Ice Cream and Smoothie Specialist to join our vibrant hospitality team and elevate our dessert and beverage offerings.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve a wide variety of high-quality smoothies, milkshakes, artisan ice creams, and frozen desserts according to company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at the beverage and dessert station, including equipment sanitization and proper food storage.
- Engage warmly with customers, take orders, and provide expert recommendations on menu items to enhance their dining experience.
- Monitor inventory levels of fresh fruits, dairy, syrups, and other ingredients, reporting shortages promptly to management.
- Ensure efficient operations during peak hours by preparing ingredients in advance and maintaining a fast, accurate workflow.
- B.Sc, HND, or OND in any related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Proven experience as a smoothie artist, barista, or dessert specialist in a hospitality or food and beverage setting is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal relations and excellent communication skills to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage fast-paced service environments effectively.
