About the Role
Avonix Place is a premier restaurant and luxury lounge located in the upscale Victoria Garden City (VGC) and Ajah area of Lekki, Lagos. We serve as a fine and casual dining destination, offering a diverse menu of both intercontinental and African dishes. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Operations & Event Manager to drive our daily operational excellence, elevate our guest experiences, and manage high-profile events seamlessly in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee end-to-end facility operations, maintenance, safety, and security protocols to ensure a secure and pristine environment for all guests and staff.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute diverse private events, corporate functions, and lounge activities from conception to completion.
- Ensure smooth daily workflows, operational efficiency, and adherence to the highest standards of service delivery.
- Monitor and elevate the overall customer experience, promptly resolving any guest feedback or issues with professionalism and poise.
- Manage vendor relationships, inventory levels, and operational budgets to optimize profitability without compromising quality.
- Lead, train, and motivate floor staff and operational teams to foster a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- B.Sc or HND in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or any related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar operations or event management role, preferably within the hospitality or luxury restaurant industry.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of managing and inspiring cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
