We are currently seeking a qualified Hydraulic Technician to join our dynamic team in Nigeria and contribute to our commitment to safety, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, components, and fluid power systems on offshore drilling units.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical and hydraulic issues efficiently to minimize operational downtime.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, parts usage, and system modifications.
- Collaborate with other technical personnel and deck crews to support seamless offshore drilling operations.
- Craftsman certification in heavy industries strongly preferred, ideally with previous experience working on offshore drilling units.
- Certified mechanic status with completion of an approved apprenticeship program.
- Solid working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, components, and fluid power principles.
- Computer literacy with the ability to navigate maintenance management systems and digital documentation.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
