About the Role
Sagar Vitaceuticals Nigeria Limited, a leading name in the Nigerian healthcare and pharmaceutical industry known for trusted household brands like Vitaclox and Vitamox, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team at our Makun City, Sagamu facility in Ogun State. In this full-time role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the seamless operation of our manufacturing infrastructure, maintaining high standards of electrical safety, and minimizing downtime in our ultra-modern production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot all electrical systems, machinery, and equipment within the pharmaceutical manufacturing plant.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on production lines to ensure uninterrupted operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
- Quickly diagnose electrical faults and execute prompt repairs to minimize production downtime.
- Collaborate with the production and maintenance teams to install, test, and commission new electrical installations and machinery.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, electrical codes, and regulatory guidelines within the facility.
- Keep accurate maintenance logs, spare parts inventory records, and equipment service histories.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5 to 6 years of proven hands-on electrical engineering experience.
- Mandatory background and prior working experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced industrial setting.
- Sound knowledge of safety standards and electrical regulations specific to manufacturing plants.
