Key Responsibilities- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment and implementing proactive solutions.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for various HVAC systems accurately.
- Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, as well as performing necessary warranty services.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently to minimize client downtime.
- Providing technical direction and valuable on-the-job training to junior team members.
- Keeping daily logs and detailed records of all maintenance and repair functions.
- Ensuring full compliance with appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Minimum of Trade Test 1-3 certification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven professional experience as an HVAC Technician.
- Proficiency in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with established HVAC protocols.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting complex technical schematics and work plans.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and readiness to work after hours, weekends, and public holidays with short notice.
