About the Role
Eko Maintenance Limited is a rapidly growing facility management company specializing in the maintenance of high-rise building facilities, with our office located in Victoria Island, Lagos. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and energy efficiency of climate control systems across our premier properties, delivering exceptional service to our esteemed clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Install, inspect, and maintain comprehensive HVAC systems including heating, cooling, and ventilation units.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC equipment accurately and efficiently.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and execute necessary system upgrades.
- Repair or replace defective parts and components using industry-standard tools.
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety standards, as well as local building codes.
- Maintain accurate service records, logs, and technical reports for all completed tasks.
- Provide reliable technical support and guidance to building occupants and clients.
- Collaborate effectively with other technicians, engineers, and external contractors on various projects.
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a closely related field.
- Proven professional experience working as an HVAC Technician or Engineer, preferably within high-rise commercial or residential facilities.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, digital controls, and system components.
- Ability to read and accurately interpret complex technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
- Proficiency with specialized HVAC tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic software.
- Exceptional troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and keen attention to detail.
- Relevant professional certifications (such as ASHRAE or local Nigerian equivalents) are highly preferred.
