About the Role
Huko Advisory Services is a premier human capital development and facility management solutions company headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced ELV Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the seamless operation, maintenance, and safety of various extra low voltage systems across our client facilities, delivering exceptional service and timely technical support.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, including CCTV cameras, smoke detectors, public address systems, access control, smart lighting, and HVAC controls.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair ELV equipment efficiently using appropriate hand and power tools and advanced testing devices.
- Install, inspect, and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems in strict accordance with blueprints and schematics.
- Respond promptly to fault requests, identify electrical and ELV hazards, and conduct necessary repairs on old or faulty fixtures.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocol while working in diverse environments, including confined spaces and during off-peak hours when required.
- Minimum of Trade Test 1-3 certification in a relevant technical field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on professional experience as an ELV Technician within the facility management sector.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics, blueprints, and work plans.
- Strong working knowledge of balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, alongside strong organizational abilities.
- Flexibility to work after hours, weekends, and public holidays with short notice to meet operational demands.
