About the Role

Khadasha Innovations Africa, a strategic innovation and capacity-building firm, is recruiting an experienced Human Resources Manager to spearhead our people strategy and operations. This hands-on management role requires a commercially aware professional with strong generalist HR experience, practical knowledge of Nigerian employment legislation, and ideally, legal or compliance expertise. You will develop comprehensive HR systems while managing day-to-day employee matters, ensuring our organisation operates effectively and maintains a performance-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives and manage the complete employee lifecycle
  • Create, review, and maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, and SOPs in compliance with Nigerian labour laws
  • Draft, review, and negotiate MOUs, agreements, and organisational documentation while identifying legal and contractual risks
  • Design and manage performance management systems, including KPIs, review cycles, and Performance Improvement Plans
  • Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and support organisational change initiatives
  • Advise senior management on workforce planning, organisational structure, and people-related decisions
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure proper documentation and audit trails

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of professional HR experience with significant responsibility across core functions
  • Strong practical knowledge of Nigerian labour and employment law
  • Demonstrated experience developing HR policies, SOPs, and employee procedures
  • Proven performance management and PIP experience
  • Experience drafting and reviewing formal organisational documentation
  • Excellent written communication, attention to detail, and strong judgement
  • Ability to work independently and advise senior management with confidence

Preferred: Legal training, CIPM/SHRM certification, or oil & gas sector experience.
