About the Role
Alfred & Victoria Associates is one of Nigeria's premier ICT solutions providers, delivering cutting-edge services to today's dynamic market. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Manager to join our leadership team and drive transformational human resource initiatives across the organization.
The HR Manager will work collaboratively with the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Partner to develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies that align with our business objectives while fostering a culture of excellence and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals
- Design, recommend, and execute personnel policies and procedures; maintain comprehensive policy handbooks
- Administer employee benefits, including claims resolution and cost-effectiveness evaluations
- Implement and annually update compensation programs; conduct salary surveys and develop merit budgets
- Monitor and revise performance evaluation systems
- Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts including candidate screening, interviewing, and reference checking
- Coordinate employee onboarding and career development programs
- Conduct exit interviews and manage employee relations counseling
- Train supervisors on performance management, coaching, and disciplinary procedures
- Maintain HR records, organizational charts, and employee directories
- Evaluate department initiatives and recommend process improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, or GPHRM)
- Minimum 6 years' progressive experience in human resource management
- Exceptional people skills and emotional intelligence
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and cultural awareness
