About the Role

Eastern Plains Integrated Farm Limited (EPIFL) is a rapidly growing agribusiness located in Igbariam, Anambra State. We are currently seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our organisation's people function and support our continued expansion. In this vital senior role, you will provide comprehensive strategic and operational leadership, ensuring that our human resources policies, frameworks, and talent initiatives directly align with our core business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that support the company's business objectives, growth, and expansion plans.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and talent development across technical, operational, and administrative functions.
  • Design and manage performance management systems, ensuring employee KPIs and objectives align with organisational goals.
  • Lead learning and development initiatives, including graduate trainee, technical, leadership, and employee development programmes.
  • Manage compensation, benefits, payroll, salary structures, and statutory obligations, including PAYE, pension, and NSITF.
  • Oversee employee relations, disciplinary processes, grievance management, and workplace dispute resolution while ensuring compliance with Nigerian labour laws.
  • Ensure HR policies, SOPs, employee records, and documentation are maintained and effectively implemented across the organisation.
  • Drive the adoption of digital HR systems and provide regular HR reports, dashboards, and workforce insights to management.
  • Partner with senior management and department heads on organisational development, workforce planning, culture, and people-related business decisions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
  • 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with significant experience in a managerial or supervisory HR role.
  • Professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or an equivalent body is a strong advantage.
  • Strong working knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, statutory compliance, HR policies, and employee relations best practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and HR operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and people-management skills with proven analytical abilities.
  • Prior experience in agribusiness, FMCG, manufacturing, or a similar operational environment is highly advantageous.
