About the Role
Jaza Energy, the last mile energy company building solar charging stations and renting batteries in off-grid communities, is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Business Partner for our operations in Ughelli, Delta State. In this role, you will shape Jaza's local people operations, partnering with leaders to align HR practices with organizational goals while fostering an inclusive, mission-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities- Manage employee relations, disciplinary processes, and grievances while ensuring full compliance with Nigerian labor laws.
- Lead the annual performance management cycle, succession planning, and talent acquisition integration.
- Oversee HR administration, including accurate HRIS data maintenance, monthly payroll data submission, and benefits management.
- Design employee engagement programs, analyze survey results, and champion company culture and well-being initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a generalist capacity.
- Strong proficiency in HR technology, HRIS platforms, and local labor law compliance.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, conflict resolution, and organizational skills tailored for a fast-paced startup environment.
