About the Role
Nile University of Nigeria, a multidisciplinary private university in Abuja and a proud member of Honoris United Universities, is looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven HR professional to join our team. As an Officer for Rewards & Administration, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient HR operations, accurate record management, and seamless delivery of employee benefits and administrative support across the institution.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date physical and electronic employee records throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
- Manage end-to-end documentation for employee movements, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and exits.
- Support the administration and processing of employee rewards, benefits, pension schemes, and insurance programs.
- Prepare official HR letters, memos, reports, schedules, and administrative documents in a timely manner.
- Ensure comprehensive compliance with established university HR policies, procedures, and internal/external audit requirements.
- Provide professional, employee-focused support by addressing inquiries and guiding staff on HR-related matters.
- Manage tracking systems for HR administrative activities and participate in assigned university HR projects.
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related academic discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of broad HR experience, with at least 1 year focused specifically on administration and records management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage highly confidential employee data with strict integrity.
- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and modern electronic HR information systems.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
