About the Role
Amo Farm Sieberer Hatchery Limited, a market leader in the Day Old Chicks industry dedicated to profitable poultry farming, is seeking a strategic Human Resources Business Partner to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with management and employees to align people strategies with overarching business objectives, providing comprehensive HR support across a large workforce.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs, supporting manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, and deployment.
- Drive employee engagement, welfare, retention initiatives, and manage employee relations including grievances and disciplinary issues.
- Advise managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices while ensuring strict compliance with Nigerian labour laws.
- Support performance management processes, talent development, succession planning, and coordinate training interventions.
- Analyse HR data and metrics regarding headcount, turnover, and absenteeism to provide actionable workforce insights to management.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Mandatory professional certification from CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or a recognized equivalent.
- 5 to 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in an HR Business Partner or HR Manager capacity.
- Prior experience supporting manufacturing, agriculture, FMCG, or large operational workforce environments is a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in HR analytics, Microsoft Office Suite, and strong knowledge of labour regulations.
