About the Role
Ziba Beach Resort, Nigeria's premier overwater beach destination, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our people function across a fast-paced hospitality operation. We are seeking a dedicated professional who can go beyond standard HR administration to build a disciplined, high-performing, and service-driven workforce that delivers exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end recruitment, workforce planning, and talent acquisition strategies.
- Drive performance reviews, probation assessments, and employee KPIs.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary matters effectively.
- Monitor attendance, lateness, absenteeism, and overall workforce discipline.
- Coordinate comprehensive onboarding, training, and staff development programs.
- Maintain accurate employee records and comprehensive HR documentation.
- Support payroll preparation and ensure absolute accuracy of all HR inputs.
- Track employee turnover, staffing gaps, and potential HR risks.
- Hold managers accountable for effective people management and leadership.
- Provide detailed monthly HR reports and strategic recommendations to executive management.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant HR experience, including at least 2 to 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Prior experience managing a workforce of 100+ employees is preferred.
- Hospitality, hotel, restaurant, retail, or service-sector experience is a distinct advantage.
- CIPM or another recognized professional HR certification is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and employment practices.
