About the Role

Jules Construction, a trusted leader in the Nigerian construction sector with over 10 years of industry experience, is seeking a dynamic and organized Human Resource Assistant. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing daily administrative and HR duties, ensuring our workforce is well-supported, and contributing to the seamless operation of our human resources department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives.
  • Compile and update employee records in both hard and soft copies.
  • Process documentation and prepare comprehensive reports relating to personnel activities including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate HR projects such as meetings, training sessions, and surveys while accurately taking minutes.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding human resources issues, company rules, and regulations.
  • Assist in payroll preparation by supplying relevant data such as absences, bonuses, and leave records.
  • Communicate with public services and external vendors when necessary.
  • Properly handle complaints and facilitate effective grievance procedures.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant, or in a relevant human resources and administrative position.
  • Fast computer typing skills with proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Hands-on experience working with an HRIS or HRMS platform.
  • Familiarity with ATS software and resume databases.
  • Basic working knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
