About the Role
Petro-Tracking Services Limited, an ISO 9001:2008 certified leader in non-destructive testing, material testing, and third-party inspection, is seeking a dedicated HSSE Advisor / Manager to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. Established in 2014, we deliver cutting-edge engineering and technical solutions to the oil and gas, manufacturing, and aerospace sectors. In this critical role, you will champion our commitment to operational excellence by driving robust safety cultures and ensuring strict adherence to global health, safety, security, and environmental standards across all our facilities and project sites.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and continuously update comprehensive HSSE policies, procedures, and manuals in alignment with ISO standards and Nigerian regulatory requirements.
- Conduct routine safety audits, risk assessments, and job safety analyses across laboratories, inspection sites, and client locations.
- Investigate workplace incidents, near-misses, and occupational illnesses, establishing effective root-cause analyses and corrective action plans.
- Facilitate comprehensive HSSE training sessions and safety inductions for all employees, contractors, and site visitors.
- Maintain compliance with local and international environmental protection laws, waste management protocols, and emergency response plans.
- Prepare and present regular HSSE performance reports to executive management to drive continuous improvement.
- Possession of an SSCE, OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant scientific, engineering, or safety management discipline.
- Recognized professional certifications in Health, Safety, and Environment (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or local Nigerian safety certifications).
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on HSSE experience, preferably within the oil and gas, manufacturing, or heavy inspection industry.
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of ISO standards, risk assessment methodologies, and Nigerian regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
