About the Role

Our HSE Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and standards aligned with international best practices
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard identification across operational sites
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian regulations, ISO standards, and client-specific HSE requirements
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Provide HSE training and awareness programs to staff at all levels
- Maintain comprehensive HSE documentation, records, and reporting systems
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety into all operational phases
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- Professional certifications (NEBOSH, OHSAS, or equivalent) highly preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of HSE experience in Oil & Gas or related industries
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian HSE regulations and international standards
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in HSE management systems and reporting tools
