About the Role

Chieke Properties is a leading real estate investment and development company with transformative projects spanning across Enugu and Lagos State. We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and proactive HR Officer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving our organizational culture, supporting our workforce, and ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day human resources functions as we scale our operations in the Nigerian real estate sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding for various project sites in Lagos and Enugu.
  • Maintain comprehensive employee records, manage personnel files, and ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and company policies.
  • Coordinate employee relations, address workplace grievances, and foster a positive, productive, and collaborative corporate culture.
  • Administer payroll inputs, leave management, employee benefits, and performance appraisal processes in collaboration with finance.
  • Identify staff training and development needs and facilitate relevant workshops or capacity-building programs.
  • Prepare regular HR reports and analytics to assist management in strategic decision-making and workforce planning.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven professional experience in human resources, preferably within the real estate, construction, or property development sectors.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks across different geographical locations.
  • Proficiency in HR software, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital recruitment platforms.
