About the Role

Ascentech Services Limited is hiring an experienced HR Manager on behalf of our client, a prominent global supply chain and agribusiness enterprise with extensive operations across Africa. In this pivotal leadership role, you will spearhead the human resources department, aligning people strategies with business objectives to foster a high-performance culture in Ibafo, Ogun State.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies, policies, and procedures that align with organizational goals.
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment, seamless onboarding, progressive employee relations, and robust performance management systems.
  • Drive strategic workforce planning, targeted training programs, employee engagement initiatives, and retention strategies.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Nigerian labour laws, statutory regulations, and internal company policies.
  • Manage accurate HR records, coordinate payroll administration, oversee staff welfare, and handle disciplinary procedures professionally.
  • Provide expert strategic HR guidance and advisory support to senior management and department heads.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 to 12 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong background in manufacturing, agribusiness, FMCG, or supply chain sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in a senior HR or managerial position.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and contemporary HR best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, or equivalent is highly advantageous.
