About the Role
Career Pool International is recruiting on behalf of a reputable salon located around Chevron Alternative Road, Lekki, Lagos, for a dynamic and results-driven HR Manager. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for shaping our workplace culture, optimizing human resource operations, and ensuring our talented team delivers exceptional service to our valued clientele.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and comprehensive employee documentation processes.
- Develop, update, and implement effective HR policies, procedures, and workplace guidelines.
- Oversee staff attendance, leave management, performance appraisals, and positive employee relations.
- Handle disciplinary matters professionally while ensuring strict compliance with company policies and Nigerian labor laws.
- Support ongoing staff training, career development, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and highly confidential personnel records and databases.
- Advise management on strategic HR matters, best workplace practices, and organizational development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant professional HR experience.
- Strong, practical knowledge of modern HR practices, employee relations, and performance management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience working in a salon, beauty, hospitality, or fast-paced customer-service environment is an added advantage.
