About the Role
Ikeja Electricity Distribution Plc (Ikeja Electric), Nigeria's largest power distribution network, is seeking a results-driven HR Generalist to join our vibrant team in Lagos. This middle-level management role directly supports strategic HR delivery, workforce effectiveness, employee engagement, and organizational performance. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will provide comprehensive HR support, partnering with business leaders to align people strategies with organizational objectives while driving service excellence across our network.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with business leaders to align HR solutions with business goals and drive organizational effectiveness.
- Identify workforce gaps, supporting talent development, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Coordinate comprehensive performance management and impactful employee engagement initiatives.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and mediation.
- Ensure strict compliance with HR policies, Nigerian labour laws, and ethical standards.
- Leverage workforce data and analytics to inform HR decisions and process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory CIPM Associate or Chartered certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in HR generalist, employee experience, or people operations roles.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment practices, labour laws, and HR policies.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and data analysis skills.
