About the Role

Dangote Group, one of Africa's most diversified business conglomerates, is seeking a strategic and results-driven HR Business Partner to join our team in Numan, Adamawa State. In this critical role, you will act as a vital liaison between human resources and business units, aligning people strategies with organizational goals while driving workforce effectiveness, discipline, and employee engagement across our industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with department leadership to translate business and production goals into actionable workforce plans and support organizational restructuring.
  • Manage end-to-end manpower planning, timely recruitment, and onboarding for production, operation, maintenance, and technical roles.
  • Oversee employee relations, handle disciplinary actions, resolve grievances, and ensure strict compliance with Nigerian labor laws and union agreements.
  • Drive performance review cycles, train line managers, and support development plans for high-performing staff.
  • Identify technical skill gaps and collaborate with the training manager to coordinate targeted employee development programs.
  • Analyze HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, overtime, and headcount to prepare comprehensive management reports.
  • Lead local employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives to foster a safe, inclusive, and highly productive workplace culture.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certification, particularly CIPMN, is a strong added advantage.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience as an HRBP or HR Generalist within an industrial, factory, or manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Nigerian labor laws, industrial relations, and working harmoniously with labor unions.
  • Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, and people management skills with high integrity and empathy.
