About the Role

BU Power Limited is a leading independent power producer dedicated to delivering reliable, uninterrupted electricity to industrial, commercial, healthcare, and educational sectors across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented HR & Administrative Support Assistant to provide seamless day-to-day administrative and human resources support, ensuring our Lagos office operates at peak efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive day-to-day administrative and HR support, managing correspondence, employee records, and confidential documentation.
  • Facilitate recruitment processes, onboarding schedules, attendance tracking, and leave management systems.
  • Manage petty cash disbursements and authorized administrative expenses with strict accountability and accurate record-keeping.
  • Coordinate facility maintenance, office cleanliness, equipment servicing, and general supplies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Organize meetings, draft accurate minutes, and follow up on pending action items across departments.
  • Handle travel logistics, including flight bookings, hotel reservations, and local transportation arrangements.
  • Liaise with external vendors and service providers to negotiate favorable terms and optimize resource utilization.
  • Support internal employee engagement initiatives and assist management with ad-hoc projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative, HR, or office support function is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and time-management abilities.
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential company and employee information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proximity to Marina, Lagos Island, with candidates living within a reasonable commuting distance strongly encouraged to apply.
