We are currently looking for a skilled and professional Howo Trailer Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty manual vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently, ensuring our supply chain remains seamless and reliable.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate Howo trailer trucks and other manual gear company vehicles across various Nigerian routes.
- Transport goods, materials, and supplies securely to designated destinations on schedule.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical faults promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all national traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation.
- Assist warehouse staff with the safe loading and offloading of goods when required.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience driving Howo trailers and heavy-duty manual transmission vehicles.
- Valid professional driver’s license (Class G or relevant heavy-duty classification) with a clean driving record.
- Extensive knowledge of Nigerian inter-state roads, highways, and local traffic laws.
- Strong physical fitness, reliability, and the ability to manage long-distance driving schedules.
- Good communication skills and a high level of integrity and punctuality.
