About the Role
Wertvoll Consulting Services, a premier hospitality consulting firm headquartered in Lekki, Lagos, is partnering with Blue Apple Hotel located in Awoyaya, Ibeju-Lekki, to recruit a dynamic and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor. Led by Principal Consultant Mazi Collins Ugochukwu Nwangwu, our firm drives operational excellence and transforms hospitality brands across Nigeria. We are seeking a service-driven professional who takes pride in flawless guest experiences and exceptional property presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the daily activities of the housekeeping team to ensure all rooms, public areas, and facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Inspect guest rooms and public spaces regularly to guarantee compliance with hotel quality standards and brand guidelines.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities, submitting timely requisitions and minimizing waste.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment.
- Coordinate maintenance issues promptly with the engineering department to ensure swift room turnovers and repairs.
- Handle guest feedback and special requests professionally, ensuring total satisfaction during their stay.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation protocols across all operational areas.
- Minimum of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or equivalent relevant qualification in hospitality management or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Residency in or close proximity to Ibeju-Lekki, Awoyaya, and environs in Lagos State.
