About the Role
Corinthia Villa Hotel, a premier luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of Garki 2, Abuja, is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in upholding our reputation for first-class hospitality by ensuring all guest rooms and public spaces maintain immaculate standards of cleanliness and elegance, creating an unforgettable experience for both business and leisure travelers.
Key Responsibilities- Clean, sanitize, and tidy up guest rooms, hallways, elevators, lobbies, and common areas according to hotel standards.
- Dust, polish, and care for various surfaces, fixtures, and fine furniture.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep, and mop hard floors throughout assigned sections.
- Empty trash bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste properly.
- Strip beds, change bed linens, replace towels, and restock luxury guest toiletries.
- Provide prompt and careful laundry and ironing services for hotel guests upon request.
- Collaborate effectively with the housekeeping team to ensure timely completion of the daily cleaning roster.
- Restock cleaning supplies and amenities efficiently in the housekeeping hand cart.
- Inspect rooms and public areas, reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately to management.
- Minimum of a SSCE or relevant professional certification in hospitality or housekeeping.
- Proven previous experience working as a Housekeeper or Room Attendant in a reputable hotel or luxury hospitality setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of personal hygiene and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- Physical stamina to handle bending, lifting, pushing cleaning carts, and standing for extended periods.
