About the Role
Teestone Hotel & Apartments is a premier modern boutique hotel located in the tranquil heart of Ikeja, just minutes away from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport. We are currently seeking a dynamic, customer-focused, and polished Hotel Waiter / Waitress to join our food and beverage team and deliver memorable dining experiences to our esteemed guests.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome all guests warmly, guide them to their seats, and present menus with detailed knowledge of daily food and beverage specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve meals and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and etiquette throughout the service.
- Proactively check on guests to ensure satisfaction, handle special requests, and promptly resolve any complaints.
- Prepare, set up, and maintain clean dining areas, banquet spaces, and event setups before, during, and after service.
- Process accurate billing and handle cash or electronic payment transactions with utmost integrity.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, hygiene, and food handling regulations to ensure a safe environment for all.
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent educational qualification.
- Proven previous experience as a waiter, waitress, server, or in a similar hospitality role is a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Immaculate personal grooming, hygiene, and a professional appearance.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and remain calm under pressure.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
