About the Role

Key Responsibilities- Monitor and authorize the entry of guests, employees, and visitors to protect hotel premises against theft and unauthorized access.
- Conduct regular patrols of the hotel property to detect signs of intrusion, ensuring all doors, windows, and gates are secure.
- Monitor alarm systems and CCTV surveillance cameras to identify unusual occurrences or potential security risks.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergency situations, and disturbances, providing necessary assistance to guests and staff.
- Operate metal detectors and screening equipment to prevent prohibited items from entering restricted areas.
- Enforce fire prevention protocols, accident investigation procedures, and strict access control guidelines.
- Maintain comprehensive daily logs and write detailed incident reports regarding property damage, theft, or irregularities.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent academic qualification.
- Proven professional experience working as a security guard, hotel security officer, or in a relevant safety position.
- In-depth knowledge of public safety, emergency response, and security procedures.
- Exceptional surveillance skills, high attention to detail, and sound judgment.
- Uncompromising integrity, professionalism, and strong customer service orientation.
- Physical fitness to stand or walk for extended periods and handle physically demanding situations.
- Proximity to the work location, with preference given to candidates living around Ogba, Agege, Ojota, Ketu, Ojodu Berger, Akute, and Ikeja axes.
