About the Role
Teestone Hotel & Apartments is a modern boutique hotel located in the peaceful neighborhood of Ikeja, just 15 minutes from Murtala Muhammed International Airport. We are currently seeking a dedicated and vigilant Hotel Security Personnel to join our professional team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and peaceful environment for our esteemed guests, employees, visitors, and property. You will play a crucial part in monitoring hotel premises, preventing security incidents, responding promptly to emergencies, and upholding our high standards of safety and contemporary hospitality.
Key Responsibilities- Patrol the hotel premises, entrances, parking areas, guest floors, and other designated zones regularly.
- Monitor CCTV cameras, security alarms, and access points to detect any unauthorized entry or suspicious activities.
- Prevent and detect theft, vandalism, and other security threats while safeguarding hotel property and guest belongings.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, disturbances, and alarms with a calm and professional demeanor.
- Assist management, local authorities, and emergency services during fires, medical emergencies, or evacuations.
- Enforce hotel security policies and conduct regular checks of doors, windows, and emergency exits.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with the Security Supervisor and other hotel departments.
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC or equivalent educational qualification.
- Previous experience working in hotel security, private security, or a similar role is a distinct advantage.
- Relevant security training or professional certifications will be strongly preferred.
- Physically fit with the stamina to remain alert during long hours and extended periods of standing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact politely yet firmly with guests and staff.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure when handling difficult or disruptive situations.
- High level of integrity, honesty, discipline, and trustworthiness.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
