About the Role

We are currently looking for a dedicated Security Manager to oversee all hotel safety, security, fire-life safety, and loss-prevention operations in full compliance with global Hyatt standards and Nigerian regulations, including NSCDC and Fire Service guidelines. You will play a crucial role in protecting our guests, staff, and physical assets while upholding our renowned standards of guest service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage 24/7 security operations, including patrols, advanced CCTV monitoring, access control, and stringent key control systems.
- Lead emergency response protocols, execute evacuation drills, and direct crisis management procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian regulations by verifying NSCDC licenses for contract guards and adhering to the Labour Act and Fire Service Act.
- Recruit, train, and supervise in-house security officers and third-party contract guards while conducting ongoing safety training for all departments.
- Coordinate specialized security measures for VIP guests, weddings, conferences, and high-profile hotel events.
- Maintain thorough documentation, including CCTV logs, incident files, monthly security reports, and quarterly risk assessments.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of proven experience in security operations, preferably within the hospitality or corporate sector.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a managerial capacity within a fast-paced environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern security systems, emergency response protocols, and risk management principles.
- Relevant professional certifications in security management, fire safety, or first aid will be a distinct advantage.
