About the Role
Teestone Hotels & Apartments is a modern boutique hotel located in the peaceful neighborhood of Ikeja, just 15 minutes from Murtala Muhammed International Airport. We pride ourselves on offering comfort, convenience, and contemporary hospitality to business and leisure travelers alike. We are currently seeking a professional and vigilant Hotel Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of all guests, staff, visitors, and hotel property.
Key Responsibilities- Patrol hotel premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of unauthorized entry, theft, vandalism, or other security concerns.
- Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and other security equipment to maintain continuous surveillance.
- Control access to hotel facilities and verify the identity of visitors and vendors when necessary.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, security breaches, disturbances, accidents, and fire alarms.
- Assist guests and staff with safety-related concerns and provide calm support during high-pressure situations.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate daily security logs.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify potential security and safety hazards.
- Enforce hotel rules, regulations, and security procedures while collaborating with management and local law enforcement when required.
- Minimum of SSCE/High School Certificate; additional professional security training or certifications are a strong advantage.
- Previous experience working in security services, hospitality, or a related field.
- Strong observation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to remain calm, decisive, and professional under pressure or during emergencies.
- Basic knowledge of emergency response procedures and occupational safety regulations.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
