About the Role
Teestone Hotels & Apartments is a modern boutique hotel located in the peaceful neighborhood of Ikeja, just 15 minutes from Murtala Muhammed International Airport. We pride ourselves on offering a stylish and welcoming environment for business and leisure travelers alike. We are currently seeking a courteous, reliable, and professional Hotel Porter to join our dedicated hospitality team and ensure our guests experience the highest standards of comfort and care from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities- Greet all guests warmly upon arrival and departure, creating a positive first and last impression.
- Assist guests with carrying, transporting, and storing luggage safely to and from their rooms.
- Escort guests to their accommodations while clearly explaining hotel amenities, room features, and services.
- Respond promptly, politely, and efficiently to various guest requests and inquiries throughout their stay.
- Assist with loading and unloading guest belongings from vehicles, taxis, and airport shuttles.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderly organization of the main lobby, entrance pathways, and designated luggage storage areas.
- Deliver messages, mail, packages, and requested items securely to guest rooms when required.
- Provide accurate directions and helpful recommendations regarding local Lagos attractions, transportation options, and hotel facilities.
- Support the front desk and other hotel departments during peak operational hours.
- Ensure guest safety and security at all times by strictly following established hotel policies and safety procedures.
- Minimum of SSCE or High School Certificate equivalent.
- Prior working experience in a hospitality, hotel, or customer service role will be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent verbal communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Naturally friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude with a proactive disposition.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to regularly lift, carry, and maneuver heavy luggage.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays as scheduled.
