About the Role
Teestone Hotel & Apartments is a modern boutique hotel located in the peaceful neighborhood of Ikeja, just 15 minutes from Murtala Muhammed International Airport. We offer the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and contemporary hospitality for business and leisure travelers. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Operations Supervisor to oversee our daily operations and ensure exceptional guest service. The successful candidate will coordinate and supervise front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and security teams to maintain high operational standards and efficient hotel performance.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily hotel operations across all departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Ensure guests receive excellent service and promptly resolve any complaints or concerns.
- Monitor staff performance and ensure strict adherence to hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts and maintaining adequate staffing levels for optimal hotel performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities to guarantee cleanliness and quality.
- Coordinate with department heads to maintain smooth communication and efficient daily workflows.
- Monitor inventory levels and report operational needs or shortages to management.
- Ensure compliance with all local health, safety, and security regulations.
- Prepare comprehensive operational reports and provide updates to hotel management.
- Assist in staff training, onboarding, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing team.
- Support revenue-generating activities and help achieve hotel occupancy and service targets.
- Handle emergency situations professionally and ensure appropriate corrective actions are promptly taken.
- Bachelor's Degree, HND, or equivalent in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven previous experience in hotel operations, hospitality supervision, or a similar role within the Nigerian hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required by hotel operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with modern hotel management software.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
