About the Role
Rekopel Resources Ltd, a fast-growing and reputable name in the Nigerian hospitality industry with branches in major cities including Abuja, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Operations Manager for our Festac office in Lagos. In this vital leadership role, you will champion our commitment to providing unique and exemplary hospitality services, driving operational excellence across all departments to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Support and collaborate with all Heads of Department in all aspects of running the hotel efficiently.
- Monitor inter-departmental coordination to ensure seamless, smooth, and efficient daily operations.
- Ensure strict implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all departments through routine inspections.
- Coordinate regular operations team meetings with department heads to review performance and align goals.
- Identify staff training needs and spearhead regular training programs to maintain high service delivery standards.
- Monitor and effectively manage operational and overhead costs to drive financial efficiency.
- Oversee overall hotel operations, monitor departmental purchases and requests, and randomly inspect stores and kitchens for compliance with established rules.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive proven experience in the hospitality industry, specifically within hotels at a senior management level.
- Must have a verifiable background of rising through departmental operations as a Head of Department.
- Demonstrated expertise in cost control, staff training, and SOP implementation.
