About the Role
Residency Hotels Limited is seeking a dynamic, commercially driven, and results-oriented Hotel General Manager to lead the overall operations of our Lekki Phase One property and drive sustainable business growth. Building upon a century of hospitality experience, we are dedicated to offering warm welcomes and lasting memories, ensuring every guest feels valued and appreciated.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth, efficient, and profitable business activities across all departments.
- Develop and execute revenue-generating strategies to improve occupancy rates, Average Daily Rate (ADR), RevPAR, and overall profitability.
- Lead strategic sales and marketing initiatives to attract corporate, individual, and group clients while maintaining strong vendor and stakeholder relations.
- Manage departmental budgets, monitor expenses, ensure financial controls, and minimize operational wastage or revenue leakages.
- Provide strong leadership and direction to staff, working closely with HR to recruit, train, motivate, and retain high-performing hospitality professionals.
- Uphold exceptional standards of guest service, quality assurance, hygiene, facility maintenance, and health and safety compliance.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven managerial experience in the hotel and hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, sales, and administrative operations.
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
