About the Role
Teestone Hotels & Apartments is a modern boutique hotel located in the peaceful neighborhood of Ikeja, just minutes from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional comfort and contemporary hospitality to business and leisure travelers alike. We are currently looking for a dedicated and hands-on Hotel Maintenance Personnel to join our dynamic operations team and help maintain our high standards of facility excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine inspections of hotel facilities, guest rooms, public areas, and equipment to identify potential issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and efficiently repair maintenance issues in guest rooms and common areas.
- Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and emergency repair situations.
- Repair and maintain furniture, fixtures, doors, windows, locks, and general property infrastructure.
- Monitor and maintain water supply, power, air conditioning, and standby generator systems.
- Ensure all maintenance operations strictly comply with health, safety, and hospitality regulations.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized repairs.
- Minimum of SSCE, OND, Trade Test Certificate, or relevant technical qualification.
- Proven hands-on experience in hotel maintenance, facility management, or a related field.
- Basic working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mechanical aptitude.
- Good physical fitness with the ability to handle manual tasks and active shifts.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or within a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
