We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Hotel Maintenance Officer (Plumber) to join our dynamic team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our hotel facilities operate flawlessly, providing an exceptional and comfortable experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, pipes, fixtures, and fittings throughout the hotel property.
- Diagnose and promptly fix water supply, drainage, and plumbing faults to minimize guest disruption.
- Inspect and maintain toilets, bathrooms, water pumps, and overall water distribution systems.
- Respond swiftly to plumbing emergencies and guest maintenance requests with a high level of professionalism.
- Carry out routine preventive maintenance schedules to reduce unexpected facility breakdowns.
- Monitor water pressure, check for leakages, and ensure clear drainage systems at all times.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and materials used.
- Ensure all plumbing tasks comply with safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Minimum of a Trade Test Certificate, OND, or relevant vocational qualification in Plumbing or related fields.
- Proven professional experience working as a plumber, preferably within the hospitality, real estate, or facility management sector.
- Strong knowledge of modern plumbing systems, fixtures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond promptly to maintenance emergencies.
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach to guest requests.
