About the Role
Hotel Capitol is a modern and contemporary three-star luxury hotel strategically located in the heart of Omole Phase 1, Lagos, offering exceptional comfort across our 28 tastefully furnished rooms and suites. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will play a vital part in upholding our high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction, ensuring that every guest enjoys a spotless and comfortable stay.
Key Responsibilities- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and restock room amenities such as fresh towels and luxury toiletries.
- Maintain pristine hygiene standards across all assigned spaces, paying special attention to spotless bathrooms and germ-free fixtures.
- Respond promptly, professionally, and courteously to guest requests, inquiries, and special housekeeping needs.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items in rooms to the management team immediately.
- Handle hotel property, cleaning equipment, and guest belongings with the utmost care and respect.
- Minimum of an SSCE qualification.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of safe cleaning chemicals and standard cleaning equipment is a distinct plus.
- Candidates residing within close proximity to Ogba, Agege, Ikeja, Ojodu Berger, Akute, or the Ketu axis are strongly encouraged to apply.
