About the Role
NSPRI Guest House is a reputable and serene hospitality facility located within academic and research environments, providing top-quality lodging and guest services. We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Hotel General Supervisor to oversee our daily operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and lead our team to success. The ideal candidate must reside around the Yaba, Surulere, Idi-Araba, or Mushin axis, bringing a proactive approach and a passion for the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage departments with minimal supervision.
- Supervise, train, and motivate staff to maintain high productivity, professionalism, and stellar customer service.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously to guarantee complete satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage budgets, control costs, and prepare accurate financial and operational reports for senior management.
- Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and security regulations across the facility.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
- Proficiency in Hotel Management software and reservation systems.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue management principles.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
