About the Role
Efezi Southsea Nigeria Limited is a premier hospitality consultancy dedicated to elevating standards across the Nigerian leisure sector. We are currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Hotel Auditor to join our Lagos headquarters and safeguard the financial integrity of our partner hotels. In this critical role, you will oversee financial transactions, revenue records, and internal control systems to drive profitability and transparency.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily audits of revenue, night audit reports, and multi-outlet collections including rooms, food and beverage, and events.
- Examine cash and digital payment collections, investigating and resolving any shortages or discrepancies promptly.
- Perform comprehensive stock, inventory, procurement, and payroll audits to prevent financial leakage and ensure policy compliance.
- Evaluate internal control systems, detect potential fraud or operational risks, and recommend robust preventive measures.
- Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly audit reports and present actionable insights to management.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of proven hands-on auditing experience within the hotel and hospitality industry.
- Recognized professional accounting or auditing certifications are strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and modern accounting software.
